Meet Kelly Harris, LPC, LMFT, IASIS Certified Practitioner
I am the owner of Abide Christian Counseling. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Texas, and I hold a Master's degree in Counseling from Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi.
I provide counseling services to individuals, couples, and families ranging from ages 10 to 99. I am certified as a Biblical Counselor through the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors and trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to help clients heal from trauma. Additionally, I am an IASIS Certified Provider (ICP). IASIS can help people of all ages.
I have a heart for the hurting and want to be an instrument in God's hands to help those I can. I first heard about IASIS Micro Current Neurofeedback from a client and felt called to bring this technology to the Coastal Bend. Above all, my goal is to glorify God in everything we do at Abide Christian Counseling.

My name is Ivonne, and I am currently in the Master’s of Marriage and Family Therapy (MAMFT) Program at Houston Christian University Online and interning under Kelly Harris, LPC, LMFT at Abide Christian Counseling. Originally from the East Coast, now living in Texas, and serving in mission work across diverse communities, I value the opportunity to work with individuals, couples, and families from a wide range of backgrounds. These experiences have broadened my perspective and strengthened my ability to approach counseling with cultural humility and respect for the ways people experience relationships, family, and life. Because of this, I take a compassionate, nonjudgmental, and holistic approach to counseling, viewing each person through a biopsychosocial-spiritual lens. I truly believe that our biological, psychological, social, and spiritual experiences all influence who we are, what we believe, and how we navigate life’s challenges. I'm deeply committed to both my faith and serving others, and I've dedicated my life to following Jesus and walking alongside individuals on their journey toward healing and hope. I firmly believe that transformation is possible and live by the promise found in Scripture: “With God, all things are possible (Matthew 19:26)."
My desire is to partner with Christ in what He is already doing in each person’s life, marriage, or family, inviting the Spirit of Truth into the counseling process to bring healing, freedom, restoration, and lasting transformation.
